Senate Bill 46 Press Conference at Colorado State Capitol
On Thursday, February 16, at a press conference announcing the introduction of Senate Bill 46 to the Senate Education Committee, Padres & Jovenes Unidos student-leader Brandon Garcia spoke before a crowd of legislators, reporters, and community members. He presented his own personal testimony around his experience with alternatives to zero-tolerance and demanded that legislators pass this bipartisan bill. He also presented his testimony before the Senate Education committee.
