In Spring 2007 Padres began providing weekly academic counseling and tutoring to the members of the Jovenes Coordinating Council with an emphasis on freshmen and sophomores.

Goal: Provide academic support and guidance to college and beyond to Jovenes Unidos leaders.

Objectives:

  1. Continue College Support Program designed to empower 40 to 50 students to explore college options and impart to them the skills, support, and structure they need to obtain scholarships and get into college.
